We chose a school on the recommendation of our vicar. She’s familiar with all of the primary schools in the area, and thinks that the one we’ve chosen (The School) is the one best suited to meet the needs of a child who’s been Looked After.

C excels academically, but it’s possible that when he’s placed with his family (please be us!) that he will struggle emotionally. The School works very hard to meet the holistic needs of children who attend.

This morning we went to The School and were shown around by the Head Teacher. She was lovely. The school was bright and cheerful. The children were all in morning assembly so we didn’t see many children, but it was obviously a happy place.

After our visit, we are more convinced than ever that it’s the right place for C to be.
